Our experience with D&T Boykins was great. From the first call to inquire on availability to the day of our pickup, Tracy was extremely helpful and transparent with all the details.
Tracy continually provided updates on the birth of the litter and sent us pictures/videos of the puppies up until the day of pickup.
Most importantly, it is apparent that Tracy and Danny take great pride in the Boykin Spaniel breed and continuing the legacy of their bloodline.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and a better puppy to add to our family.

I just wanted to share how excited we are about our new puppy! Our experience with D&T Boykin Spaniels has been outstanding from the start. Tracey took the time to have a thorough conversation with us on the phone, addressing all our questions and making sure we’d be a solid fit for a Boykin.
Throughout the process, she kept us in the loop with weekly updates and videos of the puppies as they grew, which was fantastic.
When pickup day arrived, we were warmly welcomed into the Frias home to meet our new pup, Wendell. They provided us with health records for him and his parents, along with some excellent literature for new owners, and they were incredibly helpful in answering all our questions. It’s evident they have a genuine love for their dogs, which played a significant role in our decision to choose D&T.
We’re eager to train Wendell to be our waterfowl dog, and he’s already fitting in well with our other pets and four kids. If you’re in the market for a Boykin Spaniel, we wholeheartedly recommend D&T!

We had such a wonderful experience with D&T Boykins! From the very beginning, their communication was outstanding — we received regular updates about the litter, which made the whole process so exciting and reassuring. When it was time to bring our puppy home, they provided us with a helpful puppy book full of great information. Our new puppy (Mylee) is incredible — she has a sweet, calm temperament and was clearly well-socialized and exposed to a variety of experiences early on. Can’t say enough about D&T Boykin Spaniels of Texas. My search for the best family dog and hunting partner began with a call to the Boykin Spaniel Society being our first Boykin. Thinking that my Boykin puppy journey was going to lead me to South Carolina or beyond to find the best puppy, they advised me of several breeders in Texas that were members of the preferred breeder program of the BSS. They pointed me in the direction of the Boykin Spaniel Club of Texas.
After a few phone calls and multiple people saying Tracey and Danny had beautiful, well mannered, and extremely exceptional hunting dogs, I made a phone call to Tracey. She picked up on the first call and we talked for a good while and figured that one of their dogs would be a fit for our family.
Tracey’s communication throughout the process was exceptional and all questions were answered with promptness and thoughtfulness.
On puppy pick up day, I knew that we had made the right choice in our breeder selection. You could tell they love their dogs and their puppies. They were all cared for and loved from the beginning and had already been around kids (which was an added benefit since we have 2 kids under 10) and had been exposed to the water.
All the paperwork was prepared in a binder that was upfront and honest. All documents for AKC and BSS were all prepared. Shot records were all in order.
Our Remi girl is already an exceptional puppy. Tracey and Danny had already almost potty trained her with minimal accidents in the house the first couple of days. She was fetching a bumper the 2nd day she was home with us and has that natural drive and could tell she comes from a long line of hunters.
Once again, I cannot recommend D&T Boykin Spaniels of Texas enough. My family and I are so happy we found Danny and Tracey. They are doing it the right way!

What a Great experience with D&T!
We found them on the Boykin Spaniel Society website as a Sliver Level preferred breeder and so glad we did. They are very nice, knowledgeable, detailed/organized, and most importantly caring. Tracy kept us updated on the litter every step of the way. She sent videos and pictures regularly. When picking up the puppy, we could tell she cared about her dogs. We received all the important details (shot/worming record, microchip details, etc), all the papers to tri-register the pup, and additional puppy & Boykin info. We had a wonderful time picking out our new family member/hunting buddy. We highly recommend D&T Texas Boykin Spaniels!

So happy with this our new puppy!
HIs name is Ranger (from recent litter of Weber's Willow and Texan Rio Bravo). I have trained and competed with our Irish Setters for several years in AKC Obedience and Rally events. This is our first Boykin and we are very impressed. Talk about natural retrievers! At only 10 weeks old he is already retrieving a competition dumbbell. Looking forward to training and competing with him. I am sure we will have many fun adventures.

This is my story that led me to D&T Boykins
Finding D&T Boykins was as easy as a phone call. The only thing I had to do was speak with Tracey once and I knew I had found the family from whom I would get my new puppy.
I emphasize the word family because that is truly the connection I felt and it never changed throughout the months long communication as we anxiously awaited the birth of my sweet puppy and his siblings.
Tracey and Danny’s love of their Boykins shown through in all of our conversations. Tracey was always available by text or call anytime I had questions. More than that, I would received regular updates on Momma Willow and then the puppies when they were born and as they grew.
I could go on and on but suffice it to say that if you are looking for a very special Boykin puppy, you found the right place with Tracey and Danny Frias.
I now have the sweetest little boy puppy and remain grateful always to Tracey and Danny.
